New year resolutions and motivation

New year, new resolutions! And with them, it's important to have motivation too. In case you need new motivational tips for running, here are some pointers.

Just go. No running will be done if you don't get out.
Schedule your run as it's an appointment. Putting it on your calendar makes you more accountable for it.
Reward yourself for going. It doesn't mean binge-eating after a short run. But life needs to be lived and after some effort, some additional reward is fine.
Get some nice workout clothes. Since you are doing it, do it looking good.
Take a mate. Running with someone, a friend or a club (we have two Wine Running Clubs!), makes you run more yet notice it less.
Listen to something. If you are alone, put some music or a podcast one (but please be careful on your surroundings).
