5 reasons running is great

From amateurs to seasoned runners, from 5k-ers to ultra-marathoners, running is just great and puts together people who otherwise would have never met.

Stay in shape - A reason for many, running burns a lot of calories by using major muscle groups for a long period of time.
Health benefits - Too many to list them all, but some examples are: reduced high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease, beneficial to brain function and sleep, improved mood.
Socializing - There are nearly 1,400 running clubs in the UK. And those are the registered ones, without considering other groups or simply friends that jog together.
Views - Running is very low risk in terms of injuries due to collision, falls, or equipment malfunction, therefore any runner can enjoy the views around them - be it either a park, the beach or wherever else.
Experience - Running gives the opportunity for unique experiences that create good memories and bonding.
