Run like (and with) the wind.

What a great beginning of the 2020 season with our Wine Running Club - Eastbourne Chapter earlier this month. Familiar faces and new people alike, we all had a good time and had a great wine tasting with some great talk about the wine itself as well as the producers and more. This is integral part of our Running Club - wine education.

As the weather has been a bit windy lately (just a bit…) we thought we’d share some information about running with, or against, the wind.

Running against the wind is a great exercise because it’s considered ‘resistance running’ and it improves stamina and strength. Seasoned runners, in specific exercises, strap a parachute to their back to get the benefits of resistance running, so now we have the opportunity to do this for free. But be careful as these wind gusts can ramp up to 75 miles an hour (so they say)! On the other hand, handy when you run with the wind… therefore, have some fun and good (and safe) running!

Note: if you are interested in the Eastbourne Chapter Running Club, we now offer an Eastbourne Club package: it gives you a spot for 3 runs for as low as £25 total (limited availability for this deal).

News regarding our Brighton Chapter coming soon.
